| He was just a little tyke |
| Two years old or maybe three |
| Playing on the kitchen floor |
| Staying kind of close to me. |
| |
| I watched him as he ran his car |
| Back and forth in front of me. |
| And suddenly my heart cried out |
| "Dear Lord, I give this child to Thee." |
| |
| My thought went back to Hannah |
| As in the Bible we are told |
| Took her son, Samuel, to the temple |
| Where she presented him to the Lord. |
| |
| Then I knelt down and picked him up |
| And as I held him quiet and still |
| I prayed, "Dear Lord, this child I give to You |
| To instill in him Your perfect will." |

| PS: Today this 'little tyke' is the
pastor |
| of Fellowship Baptist Church and |
| Christian Academy, Jacksonville,
NC. |
| He signs all his correspondence, |
| "Rich in the Lord in NC" -- and
that he is! |
